Father Felim Kelly, Curate in the Parish of Castlerahan and Munterconnaught, Co Cavan, in the Diocese of Kilmore, has advised the Catholic Communications Office that the funeral arrangements for the late Hawe family RIP are as follows:
- Remains of the deceased, Clodagh, Alan, Liam, Niall and Ryan, will be reposing at Finnegans Funeral Home in Cavan Town from 3.00-8.00pm this Friday 2 September.
- Father Felim Kelly CC, will celebrate Requiem Mass on Saturday 3 September at 4.00pm in Saint Mary’s Church, Castlerahan.
- Burial will take place after Mass in the local cemetery beside the church.
Out of respect for the solemnity of the Funeral Liturgy on Saturday – and as Saint Mary’s Church has a limited capacity – inside the church is reserved for family, loved ones and parishioners only. An external loud speaker, and a small reserved area for media cameras, will be available outside. Father Kelly asks that journalists refrain from making contact with him directly, but that all media queries should be directed to the Catholic Communications Office. When information on the funeral liturgy becomes available, it will be circulated to media by the CCO. Thank you for your cooperation.
