Bishop Duffy expresses his thanks to all the priests who are taking up new appointments and welcomes Fr Peter and Fr Gabriel to their ministry in our diocese.

In particular, Bishop Duffy thanks all the priests and deacons of the diocese once again for their continued generous service to the people of God. He notes that it is clear from the changes that their ministry increasingly stretches to more than one parish. ‘As, together, we move forward and into the Jubilee Year of 2025 – with its theme of “Pilgrims of Hope” – let us pray that the Lord will continue to “comfort you and strengthen you in everything good that you do or say” (2 Thess 2:17). May the Lord bless us now and always’, Bishop Duffy concludes.
