Rest In Peace dear Francis. We are very sorry on hearing of your passing. You were a fantastic Pope. A very humble man who truly cared for all people equally . When I heard your speech upon your appointment as Pope I knew then you would be a wonderful Pope. You were not afraid to speak for all members of communities within the world and were open to change. We were very lucky to have you as our Pope. We thank you most sincerely for this.

Rest in Peace to a gentle, compassionate, and humble Pope. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
I feel incredibly blessed to have been in the presence of Pope Francis on three unforgettable occasions. In September 2014, my husband and I received a Marriage Blessing — a moment we will cherish forever. In August 2018, I stood among the faithful in Phoenix Park with my son, parents, and brother during the Holy Father's visit to Ireland. And in May 2024, we returned to Rome — this time as a family of five — for the World Day of Children, a full-circle moment that filled our hearts with gratitude.
Pope Francis gave his life in service to a Church led by the Holy Spirit — a Church rooted in mercy, compassion, inclusion, and love for the marginalised. His witness was a call to action: to meet people where they are, especially those on the margins, and to bring Christ’s love to them in real and meaningful ways.
As we enter this Jubilee Year of Hope, may we honour his legacy by making it truly count — by carrying forward his mission of outreach, tenderness, and courageous love. To quote Pope Francis “The Church is a place of mercy and hope, where everyone is welcomed, loved, and forgiven.”
